There's something about Back to School that I've always loved.  New school supplies top the list.  But it's also the feeling of a new beginning, a clean slate, a new adventure with new people to meet.  This is the first fall I'm not going back to school.  Ever.  In my life.  When I finished college, I went back to school to get  my teaching credential, then taught, then enrolled in grad school, then continued to teach. That's a lot of first days.So when the first day of school came and went this year, and I wasn't a part of it...

I have been wanting to burst at the seams with excitement for the last couple weeks! Since I founded Compliment in 2011, it has been my goal to give back in a significant way to young women in my community.  I am overcome with joy because today, I shout from the rooftops, that we are awarding two $350 cash awards (plus $100 in additional prizes) to two beautiful and talented local ladies from the Class of 2013.  First, I rounded up a group of amazing Sacramento women who own their own businesses and are making an impact on our community....
