This year has been full of incredible blessings for me and my little company-that-could.  At the beginning of 2013, I was tired of being sad and decided one way to flip my focus was to put my whole heart into Compliment.  That led me to signing up to take a super-rocking online business class in the early Spring.  I was crazy-overwhelmed with all the new stuff I was learning, so I posted in our local Facebook group, asking if anyone would want to meet up and work through the materials together.  Nikki was the one who responded. Things are in full-swing these days at the Compliment Design Studio!  We've been all set up for a little over a month and I could not feel more grateful.  Walking in to a space devoted to creating is amazing.  It's expansive.  I feel like all things are possible.

Ah, the power of social media.  Kendra Pearce and I first met via Instagram, of all things.  She liked my pictures, I liked her pictures, and bam.  We became pals.  So 21st century.  What's amazing is that even through the ethers, I found that Kendra's philosophies and my own were very much in sync.  She is the shop owner and stylist at Taim Boutique in Laguna Beach, California. I had the pleasure, just a few weeks ago, to finally make the trek down the coast to visit the little renovated beach house-turned-boutique.  It's stunning.

Meet Val.  She is the brains and beauty behind Aspire&Grow, where she makes it her business to assist in clarity. She says, "You want to do more of what you love. I am here to help."  Her mission is to "bring more light, space, love, and joy into life, business, and relationships."   Her organization and helpful attitude are what drew me to her. And whether or not you are running a business-- you may be running a home, a classroom, a small village-- she is offering lots of tips over on my blog for everyone.
