I am a high school English and AVID teacher-turned-CEO. I thought I'd be a classroom teacher forever. But sometimes God has other plans for us, and we have to answer the call.
Though I've always believed that each of us has a special light we are meant to share with the world, I didn't have any big plans to start a company.
But through a series of events, I was called to help others hold a mirror to the people they love so that they may recognize the beautiful light within themselves.
The founding of this company has been a huge act of faith since Day 1.
Compliment's core values are simple:

Every single action we take at Compliment honors these core values--from the way we package our handmade products, employ students, interact with our customers, and how we give back to our community.
You should also know that since Day 1, five percent of each Compliment purchase goes directly to our Scholarship Program that helps benefit young women in our communities break out of the cycle of poverty through education.
