It's my birthday today! I'm a big fan of birthdays. I feel super grateful to have lived another year.

Yep! We are expecting! (Which is the reason why you haven't heard much from me in the last several weeks-- making a human is exhausting, I've learned!)
We've been waiting for this moment for a really, really long time and are feeling so totally blessed with this gift. We can't wait to meet our little peanut!
This is a special day for my family. A special week. A special year.
But aren't they all in their own ways for all of us? Don't we always, no matter how bleak the situation, have something worth celebrating? If not just for the gift of another day?
As is Compliment tradition, I'm celebrating by encouraging you to spread more love.
