Giving thanks

Happy Thanksgiving week!  My most favorite holiday, Thanksgiving calls us to open our eyes to the abundance and grace in our lives.

As you may have seen our our social medias this week also marks our official business birthday.  At three years old, Compliment. has grown and expanded in many ways, but most notably in the way we've been able to make an impact.  That's always been the goal.

I took the weekend to reflect upon the beauty and goodness that is Compliment. This company's success has been built on Divine intervention and lots and lots of faith.  As a new seedling struggles through the dirt to finally see the sun, Compliment's first two years were fledgling.  If you've been following our story for a while, you'll know there were months of enormous grief and darkness through which we were called to walk.

There have also been so many moments of great triumph.  Like this.  And this.  And this...

Compliment is one of the biggest blessings in my life.  It has opened me up to so many new experiences, relationships, and lessons.  I've grown and will continue to grow with every step of this journey.

Being a heart-centered business seems to many like an oxymoron.  But you all have confirmed what I really always wanted to believe was true:  People care.

You care.

That's why you are here.  That's why we are all here.  To care for one another.

The Compliment story isn't about just me or my team.  It's about the girls we support through the Compliment Scholarship.  It's about the community we build when we share our hearts with others.  It's about the gifts for the spirit you have purchased to bring some sunshine to the women you love.

Our community grows every day.  The messages of hope, love, encouragement, appreciation and gratitude that we have the honor of  passing on to your friends and family worldwide make this unexpected journey so, so worth it.

Thank you.  Thank you. Thank you.

Thank you for believing in good.  And for believing that authenticity and kindness, in the end, always win.  You affirm my faith in humanity.  Goodness is out there.  We just need to open our eyes a little wider sometimes so we don't miss it.

Wishing you and those you love a very Happy Thanksgiving!

(And...Stay tuned because Friday morning we will be sending out our holiday discount codes.)
